- two cans of beans
- a fresh onion
- a jar of artichokes in oil
- one or two cloves of garlic
- the juice of a lemon
- black pepper
preparation
Cut the artichokes in half (or quarters, if they are too big: you get the cloves rather fine), taking care not to drain them too: the oil will release will be enough to fry even the beans, without adding fat. Cut the garlic clove in half and put it in a pan with the artichokes and their oil; fry for 2-3 minutes. Combine beans, rinsed and drained and cook, then sprinkle with the lemon juice and let it evaporate. Remove the garlic and sprinkle with pepper after cooking.
