The beneficial effects of Aloe extract

6 January 2015 / Our ideas

Aloe contains Anthraquinones

Aloe contains Anthraquinones: antimicrobiotiche property with phytonutrients and pain relief. Also theanthraquinones favour the assimilation in the intestine, and act as laxatives. Precisely because of the fear thatcan induce diarrhea and abdominal pain, the extent of Anthraquinones is set to 50 ppm (ppm = parts per million)

Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis) and Aloe arborescens are two different types of Aloe, beneficial effects are very similar.

The difference is in the size in leaf (and then in the result of processing)

-Aloe arborescens has the smallest leaf

-Aloe vera has the largest leaf

What does it mean?

It means that to get the same amount of aloe gel open more Aloe arborescens leaves rather than Aloe vera. This promotes can adventitious presence of Anthraquinones in the gel.

On the other hand the Aloe arborescens is much poorer of water than  Aloe vera, therefore has a higher concentration of active ingredients, and therefore its juice has superior quality.
